A special education funding task force recently released nine recommendations for increasing funding for Kentucky's schools, including having the state be required to fund full-day kindergarten. These are exciting recommendations, so we were glad to talk with Rep. James Tipton and Rep. Tina Bojanowski, two members of the task force. They explain what some of the recommendations mean and why they were included, and weigh in on the chances of them passing the General Assembly in this session.
The recommendations can be found on the LRC website in this PDF.
